This Phra Rahu was made fully from the 1 eye coconut shell, and this is believed to be one of the most powerful and auspicious materials used for making Rahu amulets, with sacred Rahu yants inscribed by hand at the back by Kruba Wang.

Unlike other One eye coconut made by Kruba Wang which depict Phra Rahu in the Loop Om or Rian Shaped, this is known to be a very rare full form depiction of Phra Rahu by Kruba Wang which is believed to be very effacious and powerful.

Phra Rahu is an astrological deity who is often depicted as a demon swallowing the the sun and the moon.

In Thailand, it is believed that Rahu can eat away your bad luck and change your luck from bad to good. During the bad periods of time , people would pray to Phra Rahu to change their fate.

Biography of KB Wang, Wat Banden, Tak Province:
KB Wang was a famous guru monk and a former abbot of Wat Banden in Tak Province. KB Wang loved to help people in trouble and was the chief who developed Wat Banden and made this temple prosperous so far. KB Wang was born on the 24th September 1891 in Lampoon Province. When he was 12, he got ordained as a novice at Wat Banmueangji until he got ordained as a monk on the 5th May 1912 at Wat Banpaen. After ordination, he spent 12 years on going on a pilgrimage. On his pilgrimage, he went to Myanmar to study Burmese Language and magic in Burmese until he fully understood. Then he came back to Thailand. KB Wang passed away on the 18th January 1973 at the age of 82.
